Do you ever wonder who packs, tapes, and ships the myriad Amazon boxes that land on your doorstep? Go “behind the scenes” with our group tour of the Phoenix Amazon Fulfillment Center. Discover the robotic process of sorting and shipping that’s managed by humans. During this one-hour walking tour you’ll gain first-hand knowledge of what happens at Amazon after you click on “Buy”!

We will meet at Amazon Fulfillment Center – PHX6 (4750 West Mohave Street, Phoenix, AZ 85043). Please enter the parking lot on 49th Ave off of Buckeye Rd, not Lower Buckeye. Entrance is on the north side of the building. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour to check in. There is a lovely waiting area in the facility.

There will be an optional snack together as a group following the tour (location TBD).

Some important policies regarding the tour:

  • All attendees, 18 and older, will need to provide a valid, government issued photo ID upon check in for the tour.
  • Guests must wear flat, closed-toe and closed-heel shoes (no sandals, clogs, or high heels).
  • Long hair must be pulled above the shoulders, and long-hanging jewelry, scarves, and ties are not permitted.
  • Guests may bring keys, wallets, and cellphones on the tour; but all other personal items must be left at home or in the transportation vehicle, including bags, purses, briefcases, backpacks, pocketbooks, and binoculars.
  • Amazon is a weapon-free workplace, and we reserve the right to turn away a guest if they are unwilling to tour our fulfillment center without a weapon.
  • No cameras or other video equipment are allowed on the tour. Guests may bring cellphones, as long as they do not use their phone to take pictures or audio/video recordings.
  • No food or drink is permitted on the tour, however, complimentary bottled water will be provided to guests.
