Cantor Noa is celebrated for her joyful spirit, soulful singing, and dedication to Jewish learning. She fuses ancient Jewish traditions with modern music and, with her diverse background, brings unique energy to all she does. Noa’s passion for education motivates her to make Jewish tradition accessible to all.

Noa’s passion for music led her to the United States, where she attended the Berklee College of Music in Massachusetts. There, she studied jazz and modern American music, deepening her appreciation for a wide variety of musical genres. During her time at Berklee, she also met her husband, Shai Shaashua, who is both a fellow musician and her duet partner. Together, they have two children, Lavee and Yair, who are their pride and joy.

Born in Jerusalem, Noa inherited her passion for Judaism from her father, Rabbi Shlomo Tucker. She proudly joined the Israel Defense Forces, where she was assigned to teach underprivileged and academically challenged soldiers. This rewarding experience would guide her into pursuing a career in teaching.

Before coming to TKA, Noa served Temple Kol Tikvah in Woodland Hills, California where she worked for seven years. While on this journey, Noa discovered her true passion was in the cantorate and enrolled in the Cantorial Intern Cantors Assembly Cantorate program and was ordained as cantor in June 2022.
